Inle Lake is famous for its farm produce and its fishermen, so it is unsurprising that Inthar cuisine is also well regarded. The wider Shan state is Myanmar’s culinary hub, and our menus, which change daily and reflect seasonal availability revolve these two cultural influences, with our own creative twists.
Our chef, Than New Oo, knows the lake and exactly where to find its best produce. Almost all our ingredients are sourced from lakeside markets or grown on site. We are also fans of wild foods and regularly forage from around our inlet.

Our low slung and playful bar offers the hotel’s our signature creations from Princess Sours or Floating Gardens as well as classic mixes, with seasonal and local mixers. Our bar staff like a challenge – ask them for something off the list and see.

We are pleased to offer the complete selection from Inle’s very own wine producer, Red Mountain Estate, whose vineyard is located on the hills to the east of the hotel.
